I’ll be honest I forgot all about that advice, there was no dissuasion just absent mindedness. I haven’t purchased any new music lately as I’m in the process of reripping my collection into ALAC plus my focus and money has been going towards audio purchases to whit in the last month or so. Lafayette LA-224A Tube amp, Nordmende/Sterling Carusso 58 tube radio w/turntable, Found a pair of Dahlquist DQ-10’s on the street (trash night, rich neighborhood) earlier this week too. I will check them out at some point.

There is only one douche car and that car is the Cadillac Escalade.
If we’re gonna be serious, the douchiest car has to be The Hummer. It like a Jeep on roids and if it could have dog tags for license plates it probably would. And maybe if the thing was referred to as Giant Replacement Dick instead of Hummer I would give them a pass for truth in advertising. But hey its not like we’re gonna run outta oil anytime soon so keep those bad boys gased up for your two mile trips to the local Starbucks. Am I right?
